Our focus is on the future
We care about playing our part in preserving and further developing our world and our values for future generations.
We support families and companies through generational transitions and promote environmental protection, education, research, science and innovative thinking. We sponsor cultural and sporting projects which, like us, are committed to the idea of independence and we endeavour, within our sphere of influence, to make a contribution to a healthy environment. For this purpose, we have our own beehives on our company premises as part of a sustainable – and at the same time enjoyable – project in collaboration with beefuture GmbH. We also offer charging stations for e-cars, which are powered by our own photovoltaic system.
We believe that developing sustainable strategies for families also means playing our part in creating a future worth living. Since 2019, we have been carbon negative for this reason. This means that we compensate for more CO2 than we generate. To achieve this, we support development projects worldwide. For example, Fokus Zukunft's Tanzania project, which provides households across Tanzania with efficient cookers and water filters to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Education is the future. We want to help shape the future. Which is why we promote science and research by supporting Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen. ZU promotes academic excellence and helps students to reach their full potential. Independence and impartiality are the top priorities of the university. As a regional education platform, it is helping to solve the most pressing problems facing society while promoting social innovation.
Sport is our world. Hiking, cycling and jogging are our passions. We love team sports and nothing gets us more excited than a game of football. It inspires us when people fight to make their dream of becoming a sports star come true. That is why we support ProKA Oberschwaben – a non-profit organisation that provides football goalkeepers with sports and personal training, and which is committed to encouraging and supporting talented young footballers from the Upper Swabia region on their journey to the top flight of football.
Cinema has a cult following. It is not only a cinematic experience, but a social one, too. After 45 years without a cinema, the Association “Stadtkino Bad Waldsee eG” has successfully brought cinema culture back to the town with its SEENEMA events held at “Alte Mälze” in Bad Waldsee. “Particularly informative films of great artistic value” have been enriching Bad Waldsee’s cultural programme since its foundation in 2012. We think SEENEMA is a brilliant project and we are glad to be one of its supporters.
